What you need is connect your Xbox One controller to Pc, download a config and press start. When gimx asks press Home button, press the binded one (refer in config file).
Do remember that you need a Xbox One controller without 3.5mm audio headset port.

Of course you can. You can use your ds4 which is connecting to pc for binding keys, no more ds4 required

Make sure to turn off DS4 before connecting to Pc, also disable usb suspended setting
