The max speed is limited: you can't go faster than the max speed (= max stick position) of your sixaxis.
That's the main drawback of fps games played on consoles.
But some games like COD:BO have a much more higher max speed...

Are you sure your are running your G500 at 5700DPI? 5700DPI is not the default value, you have to use the setpoint software from logitech to set that value. I think these two last dongles are not a good choice, as they have no brand name. The seller or its supplier can basically use any dongle with the same shape as replacement.

GIMX = mouse, keyboard, gamepad to ps3 adapter.

Just use keyboard macros with a proper GIMX config (keyboard to ps3 mappings).

Sadly it's possible that it's a different chip version (same manufacturer, but different chip version).

Again, your best bet is a CSR bluecore 4 dongle. There was no feedback about non-working CSR bluecore 4 dongles.
