Re: Arduino builder does not detect COM3

Yeah even though it says that it only works for a certain board, any similar board should flash the same. It was able to flash my 3v3 32u4 which wouldn't even work with the firmware after, but flashed fine. You could try flashing from command line using avrdude but essentially the app does the same ...

Re: G920 to Xbox with GIMX for motion simulator

Sorry, I just noticed you didn't mention a specific game, for some reason I thought you mentioned Forza. Any game that has UDP output and the appropriate values should be able to use gametools to setup your mosim. I do see several games listed as having UDP output in SIM Dashboard, I know at least p...

Re: G920 to Xbox with GIMX for motion simulator

Creative use. I use gimx for my custom handbrake. Does your game have UDP output? Many games have UDP output for apps, can be used for motion SIM. And in fact, if so, would be better motion likely than translating wheel position? Using wheel position plus ffb would almost make more sense, no? Sorry ...

Re: Playstation Controller DS4 "PS" Button Not Working!

It wasn't clear to me at first but you want to actually press the button on the emulated controller assigned to PS. I kept hitting the PS button on the controller, nothing happened. Eventually looked up the assignment for the profile I was testing with to see what the PS button was assigned to, pres...

Re: A DIY-GIMX Help - adapter not enumerating?

And does. :)

Need a better mouse now for fps stuff, but my handbrake works perfect.

Thanks for the lovely software. I may contribute code one day.

Sucks but my fault for not looking closer when I got it.

Re: A DIY-GIMX Help - adapter not enumerating?

So..

I just double checked the schematic of this board and it shows a 8mhz xtal on xtal0/xtal1..

You mentioned before that the voltage/speed was set by firmware..how is this possible when the 32u4 appears to use an external xtal?

Re: A DIY-GIMX Help - adapter not enumerating?

I have confirmed that my FTDI will interpret 5v input no issue, so it is 5v tolerant. Using my arduino2560, which is 5v, I was able to communicate between both devices upto 230400 bps. Above that, the arduino started spitting out garbage, but comms worked both ways with the arduino sending 5v to the...
