Check the wiring and try to swap TX/RX.

There is G27 emulation for PC, but not G29. Check it out if it suits you.

Unfortunately this project was limited in many ways by Arduino speed and flash size.

Nope. You need windows driver working for the wheel to be compatible with gimx.
