Okay, ran that and I see nothing in the jstest-gtk window.

Does this mean that my Teensy went bad just sitting on my desk?

Just to make sure I understand:

1) I should have both ends of the DIY USB Adapter connected to my PC
2) Run GIMX
3) Run jstest-gtk
4) Make sure that GIMX commands are being seen in jstest-gtk

I won't do anything until you confirm, just to make sure I don't burn anything up.

Did you set the USB adapter as controller 1 on the PS3? I am not sure what you mean by that.
