Re: new - question about setup
It's not recommended to edit the xml file... are you sure you can't delete the trigger in sixemuconf?? What's the game? Killzone3 - but I was using the BlackOps as a template (save as and changed the buttons). I couldnt find out how to delete a trigger only re-assign. But editing the xml seemed to ...

Re: Trying new things.
nav controller would be nice. I used the Wii nunchuck with XIM2 a while back and glovepie (it was in windows), I bet that would work in linux if you have one. Also, if you plug in the Nav controller via USB you would have more success - video of it working and how to do it: http://www.youtube.com/wa...

Re: Ubuntu 11.10 - 13th October
Tempted to install on a partition instead of USB stick. Does this update bring something completely new to the table? They seem to be making a pretty big deal about it :) not anything vital. slightly better Unity implementation (so if you use Unity its probably worth it - I still use Gnome), a pret...

Re: new - question about setup
ok I figured it out. even though I deleted everything in the second config section, the triggers persisted in the xml file. I simply had to edit the xml file and then the right mouse button no longer sticked. I also read more on calibration and figured out the zombie drifting. The deadzone was too b...

Re: new - question about setup
I had more time to play with it and everything works... kinda. Ill post the issues here since you may have already seen these before. I couldnt find anything specific however to my issues. First of all, I got it to work. Since everything is very device specific (I didnt realize that), I had to go in...

Re: new - question about setup
tried it on my laptop with the Broadcom 15 with Mint 10 (32). everything said it was fine, but I couldn't get it to recognize any keys or the mouse with any xml config. I then tried it again with the cirgo usb dongle and same thing. The screen would dim and then the tiny black box would show up to c...

thanks.
for #1, its built in to the laptop not a dongle. Does the bt adapter have to be an external dongle?

new - question about setup
I have just heard of this and have a few questions. 1) First off, its stated many times to use a bluetooth adapter, can you use built in bluetooth on a laptop? (its broadcom so I know its not permanent, but just to try). 2) next, if #1 cant, then I do have a bt adapter at work that I think will work...
