This is happened to me too (Win7 / G27 / PS4 / Project cars)
Got it working then the wheel just froze in place, no buttons or anything worked except the DS4 controller which still let me use the PS4.

I tried swapping the Yellow/Red but it showed the exact same log.
I don't have the same colour of wires so I tagged them with a bit of coloured electrical tape.
